Both the NJ State Council of the Emergency Nurses Association and the NJ EMS Advisory Council have officially endorsed the evidence-based IPASS tool for handoff report from EMS to ED personnel. This program describes why handoff is a critical step of patient care and suggests how to implement the tool between providers. Approved for both EMS and Nursing CEUs in New Jersey.
