October 9th marks the beginning of Emergency Nurses Week across the nation! This year New Jersey Emergency Nurses Association was able to work with Governor Murphy's office to obtain an official proclamation declaring October 9th-15th Emergency Nurses week.

We wanted to recognize the expertise and sacrifice of New Jersey's Emergency Department Nurses as well as their dedication and commitment to compassionate and safe care.

You have faced a historical healthcare crisis and continue to Stand Strong against new challenges which arise every day.

It is your week to be proud of what you do! Take some time to reach out to one another, acknowledge that what we are doing is not easy, and continue to work together with other providers as one healthcare team.

We have reached out to several hospital systems directly (or asked some of our members to reach out) and they have acknowledged that they will be helping us to recognize you, the Emergency Department nurses!

Thank you for everything that you do! Stay safe! We will continue to work on important issues which effect you.
